We are really excited on having new sponsors Summers Day Campers onboard. New and old players wearing the same kit to training and matches. Becky Clark, 2nd season as skipper but first proper season playing due to covid has been joined by VC Cassie, both have really led from the front and have brought a huge positive energy to our team. We are looking for a full-time coach to bring new ideas and guide us through the rest of the season and beyond. The goal of the team this season was to play every game with a full 15 and so far we are going above and beyond this. The pathway has proved a huge success and we have 6 girls who have played or currently play regularly in the women’s team. We’ve also had brand new players join and there’s a great energy in the squad which has reflected in our results. We have played 8 league games. We lost the first 3 but have fought back and are unbeaten in our last 5 games winning 4 and drawing 1. Having the support of many of our ex players for the Donny match was a special day. The women’s team is an exciting group to be part of.
