Scunthorpe Rugby Club Welcomes Tom’s Potatoes as Official Sponsor
Scunthorpe Rugby Club is delighted to unveil a new partnership with Tom’s Potatoes, a fast-growing local business known for supplying high-quality produce across the UK. As part of the sponsorship, Tom’s Potatoes will be supporting the club with branded post protectors and pitch furniture, enhancing both the safety and visual appeal of Heslam Park.
Founded in 2020, Tom’s Potatoes has rapidly expanded from supplying just 40 bags of potatoes per week to now serving over 100 chip shops and wholesale markets nationwide. Their commitment to freshness, flavour, and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted name in the produce industry. Specialising in frying potatoes for chip shops, they also offer a wide range of vegetables and exotic fruits sourced locally and from across Europe.
Tom’s Potatoes is driven by a dynamic team of four young and enthusiastic individuals, whose energy and passion fuel every aspect of their business—from sourcing the finest potatoes to ensuring timely delivery. Their support of Scunthorpe Rugby Club reflects their commitment to nurturing local talent and giving back to the community.
The connection between the club and the business runs deeper than sponsorship. Joey Mowbray, one of the Managing Directors, and Marcus Payne, a Sales Executive for the firm, both play in Scunthorpe’s First XV, further strengthening the bond between the pitch and the produce.
